Tour
by jeep

The jeep tour is an enchanting combination of nature and tradition.

This route passes by waterfalls and stills.

The stills portray the cachaça culture, which is very strong and rooted in the history of Paraty.
The waterfalls invigorate and entertain those who dare to dive into their refreshing, natural waters!

You can go in and bathe in all the wells you want.

The itinerary includes a lunch stop at Tarzan's restaurant or another nearby restaurant, with consumption separate.

In the stills you can taste delicious cachaças and liqueurs!

4x4 jeeps come in a variety of models—Land Rovers and Toyota Bandeirantes—with seating for 10, 12, or even 14 passengers. The vehicle is selected on the day based on the number of reservations, the route to and from lodges, and the availability of our partner operators.

The most common itinerary is the shared one, but it is possible to book a private tour for those looking for a more exclusive experience.

We offer roundtrip transfers for guests staying in the city center.
Please let us know where you will be staying so we can confirm if it is possible to pick you up at the guest house or vacation home.

Itinnerary

Waterfall
of the Toboggan

Tobogã Waterfall is one of Paraty's most famous and fun attractions. Located on Estrada Real, amidst the Atlantic Forest, it's known for its enormous, smooth rock that forms a veritable natural slide. Visitors slide down the rock until they fall into the refreshing waters of the pool below, a unique experience that combines adventure and fun.

Well and restaurant
of Tarzan

Located at the top of Tobogã Waterfall, Tarzan's Well is a perfect retreat for those looking to cool off in the crystal-clear waters of the Bocaina Mountains. The pool forms a natural pool surrounded by rocks and vegetation typical of the Atlantic Forest, creating a pleasant environment for swimming and relaxation.

Right next door is Tarzan's Restaurant, built on rocks in the river. The experience of having lunch while listening to the sound of the waterfall is unique and highly sought after. The menu is varied and delicious, with typical regional dishes, snacks, and cold drinks, making this a special stop for families, couples, and groups of friends.

Visit to the
traditional
stills

During the jeep tour, in addition to seeing waterfalls in the middle of the Atlantic Forest, we also visited the distilleries, true icons of local history and culture.

The city is nationally recognized for the quality of its artisanal cachaça, produced in the traditional way. Visitors can witness the production process at the distilleries and, of course, taste different types of cachaça—from the mildest to those aged in wooden barrels.

More than just a drink, cachaça in Paraty is a symbol of cultural identity, integral to the region's history and traditional festivals. In addition to tastings, many distilleries offer liqueurs, sweets, and other local products, making the experience even more complete.

Waterfall
White Stone

Pedra Branca Waterfall is one of the most enchanting stops on the Paraty jeep tour. Located amidst the Atlantic Forest, it stands out for its waterfall, which forms pools perfect for a refreshing and invigorating dip.

It's a place that appeals to both those looking to relax in the calm waters and those who enjoy exploring and adventuring in the surrounding area.

In addition to its natural beauty, Pedra Branca is easily accessible, making it a must-see for anyone wanting to experience the essence of Paraty's waterfalls in an authentic ecotourism experience.

Power Plant Well

The Usina Well is located just below Pedra Branca Waterfall and is another refreshing stop on the jeep tour. Its wide, tea-colored water is quite deep, making it suitable only for strong swimmers who enjoy adventure.

The site got its name from its proximity to an old hydroelectric plant that supplied Paraty in the early 20th century. Today, the ruins of this plant are part of the region's history and contribute to the area's rustic and authentic landscape.

We work with different vessels, each with its own characteristics.
